Life at Camp Horizons
Creating a fun and safe environment
With action-packed schedules, themed days and inter-camp competitions, your child is sure to have a great experience at Camp Horizons! Each camper will be given a 'Cabin' group and a designated staff 'Counselor' (Activity Lead) who will welcome them during Registration. Their Counselor will also oversee the Cabin's lunch period and ensure their campers gets picked up from camp safely. Each cabin is mixed gender and will be made up of similarly-aged campers.
Theme Days
Each week we have 'Theme Days' ranging from Disney days to Hawaiian luau parties to Camp Horizons Olympics! These days are a lot of fun and offer our campers the opportunity to be creative and try something new.
Inter-camp Games!
Every Friday Camp transforms into an Arena as our Brave Bears v Roaring Rhinos inter-camp games take place! Campers compete in a series of activities to win points for their respective tribes with each Camper becomes part of their tribe when they join us! During weeks 2 and 4 we get all our camps together for the ultimate competition day!
Off-site Trips
New for Summer 2024! This year we will embark on trips to local city farms (during week 1) and the Young V&A Museum (week 3). Throughout the trips, the kids will get to experience animals in their own environments, as well as partake in stimulating workshops at the Museum!
Wide Variety of Activities
